Our today's #mcm Otile Brown


Otile Brown is Kenyan R&B artist, Song Writer, Guitarist and an Actor. He was born and raised in Mikindani, Mombasa. He is the last born in a family of five- three brothers and one sister.
His genre of music is Kunidzia a name derived from the Arabs, which the Mijikenda borrowed but Tanzanians call it Bongo. He started as a 'rapper' in Mombasa at a tender age of 13 before moving to the big city Nairobi where he met Jalangoo who was happy with his work and decided to sponsor his first song. He asked him if he could choose who to work with either Wyre or Dr.Eddie. He chose the award winning producer and film director, Dr. Eddie who listened to his songs and decided to sign him under his recording label Dreamland Music Entertainment. It’s been about a year now and has released a couple of singles and collaborations with some of the best rappers in Kenya like Khaligraph Jones and King Kaka. His song, Imaginary Love, featuring one of Kenya’s top hip-hop rappers, Khaligraph received positive feedback from fans. 



He later he released several new songs like Everything and Deja Vu which is creating massive heat in the industry. He also collaborated with King kaka in the song Alivyonipenda which most people assume that he wrote after suffering the agony of love. Recently he has released Niseme nawe and Kistaarabu.

He says, given an opportunity, he would like to work with Diamond PlatnumzAlikiba, Nameless, and Jaguar. He would also like to work with a Tanzanian’s Ruby Na yule.
