She is the last born child from a Diplomat Family of the Late Abraham Sepetu. Wema SepetuW obtained her primary, secondary, and high-level education at Academy International School in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, and she later joined the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Malaysia to pursue an International business course which she did for a one-year and then she dropped out to continue with acting.
She was introduced into movie industry by the late Steven Kanumba who was then her lover, she made her film debut in "A Point Of No Return" as the main character alongside him. She later appears in many movies such as "Family Tear, Red Valentine, White Maria" that made her be one of the popular and desired actresses in Tanzania. After winning the title of Miss Tanzania in 2006, Wema traveled to Warsaw, Poland to compete in the Miss World 2006 but she didn’t qualify to enter the top 17 semi-finals.
As a movie star and business lady, Wema Sepetu is undoubtedly one of the most controversial celebrities in Magufuli-Land.
This 29 years old beauty queen is not of a giving up spirit. She is on a mission after her miscarriage of twins which was said to be conceived of her ex-boyfriend Idris Sultan the Big Brother Africa Star.
Wema says that she is now settled and want to get a baby before she turns 32 years; three years from now.
